Who I Want To Be

Hi, my name’s Anissa Dyah Pertiwi. I want to share to you about my dream.

I want to be a teacher. I remembered when I was in my 1st grade of elementary school, I was dreaming to be a teacher. In my 2nd grade, I want to be a doctor, but I was very scared to see any kinds of blood and mortuary too. And in my 4th grade, I love drawing, so I want to be a painter or even an architect. But in my 5th I love to write a short fiction story also to make a comic. So, in one side I want to be a novelist, but on the other side I want to make my own comic too. Hey I ever imitate my sister’s story about fairy. She wrote about ‘candy fairy’, and I wrote the same story with different actor. I changed ‘the candy fairy’ into ‘the chocolate fairy’. And she was very angry to me. But, I’m sure that it was my 1st and my last to imitate other’s idea.



My junior high school time is my best day ever. I studied everything there. Because in elementary school I was very taciturn, I mean never talk too much, my teachers in JHS teach me to speak in publics. I joined any kinds of competition which situated me to speak in publics. Story telling competition, speech competition, and my best experience is when I was invited to go to Jakarta, and present my short fiction story in titled “Pelangi Persahabatan”. All of my teachers are the best teacher ever. They were very kind, very patient, they never angry with their student, they were also very friendly and creative so no one who feel unwell to be there, I think. And especially, they teach me to be the better person. That’s why I want to be a teacher. It’s because of them.

Well, now I am the SHS student. I still want to be a teacher, an English teacher for sure. In my 1st grade, I wish, the language class, I mean the language program besides science and social programs will be open. It’s because of my dream. Besides, I loved to study any language, include Javanese language which I hate before. Oh Allah, I know You always hear my pray. Now I wish my teachers in SHS also hear my dream. And let me turn my way. But if it’s not the best for me according to You, Oh Allah, I know You know what’s the best for me. I will completely believe You. Bismillah…
